Rising majestically on the western shore of Lake Memphremagog in Quebec's Eastern Townships, we find the fully dynamic ski resort Owl's Head. Over the past few years the mountain has grown dramatically, focusing on the increasing need to provide skiers and riders the service they require while maintaining the focus and importance of family.
Owl's Head maintains a vertical drop of 540m (1772') on 44 trails with over 100 acres of skiable terrain with the new "Super Bois" glade encompassing 15-20 acres additional acres. The new "Super-Bois" glades have been cut next to the main quad, to provide the extra difficulty and fun people are looking for. The snow park went through dramatic changes last year and still has two complete trails devoted to the ever increasing popularity of free ride snow sports.
The mountain experiences an annual snowfall of approximately 450 cm (175"). Additionally with a first class snowmaking system covering 90% of the skiable terrain and exceptional grooming, you can be assured that guests can count on an unforgettable experience.
The resort enjoys a somewhat secret reputation among savvy skiers and riders as one of those rare resorts where you can spend your day on the mountain and not waiting in line.
Our dedicated C.S.I.A. certified instructors continue to provide an excellent level of technical instruction no matter what your ability level of skiing or riding. There are programs in place for those first time skiers and boarders that include instruction, equipment and a lift ticket for both children and adults. Group lessons, Holiday Camps and instructor training are provided for all ages.
A Drop off Centre is available for those adults that want to take a few runs without their children. This service is offered on weekends and holidays without reservations and weekdays with reservations. Indoor activities are organized for children between the ages of 2 and 10 years.
